Berry Blast Mini Photo Blanket Free Crochet Pattern

February 11, 2015

Last year, I worked up some Small Mini Blankets in this gorgeous Berry Blast colorway, but being after Valentine’s Day, I decided to hold off on sharing the project. Tomorrow, I will share them with you!

Today, I am sharing this Mini Photo Blanket. This is great for stuffing inside of a larger bucket to prop up baby, or on a pouf as a layering blanket.

Materials:
     – Chunky Yarn (5) – I used about 146 yds (2 balls) of Deborah Norville’s Chunky Serenity Yarn in Berry Burst
     – L11/8mm Crochet Hook
     – #18 Tapestry Needle for Weaving in Ends

Pattern Notes:
Alternatively to the strand of chunky yarn, you can hold two strands of worsted weight yarn together.

Time Spent:
I was able to complete this larger mini blanket in about an hour and 15 minutes.

Abbreviations:
     DC – Double Crochet

Measurements:
     19″ x 19″

Gauge:
     7 DCs x 4 rows = 3″ Square. [Optional] Border adds 1″ to total.

Pattern Notes:
I did not add a border to my blanket, but if you would like to, reduce your beginning chain by 3 stitches, work one less row and add a single crochet border. The mini blanket will come out to be the same size.

Pattern:

Chain 47. DC in 4th chain and in each chain across. (45 DC)

R2 – 28: Chain 2, turn. DC in 2nd DC and in each DC across.

Fasten Off, and Weave in Your Ends.

Please feel free to make and sell this mini blanket, but please DO NOT claim this pattern as your own nor should you sell my pattern, and DO NOT re-publish my photos as your own. DO NOT copy and paste my pattern anywhere, please link to it instead.

*If you would like a PDF version of this post, you may get one through my Etsy shop for a small fee. This fee is to compensate for the view/s lost once you no longer need to return to the blog for the information, as you will have your own copy. Plus! It helps fund supplies for new projects to share with you!

This is one of my favorite colorways! And it's a really soft yarn.
