Surprise! I got a booth at a local vintage/consignment-ish shop in Clermont, Florida called Urban Attic! I have been around, and around, visiting, and experimenting with different places with NO LUCK. A couple weeks ago, I looked this place up on Facebook (after a friend recommended it to me), and decided to make the trip out to visit. It’s about 45 minutes away from me, so a little journey, but when I first laid my eyes on it, and the cute little town, I fell IN LOVE! Check out my booth-in-progress, and some of my shop favorites. Inside, there are 14 vendors under one roof, so lots to see, and lots of personality.
Come check out my booth, and see some of my favorites from around the shop!
Welcome to Urban Attic!
This is what my space started off looking like (minus the dressform).
And with a little help from the staff at Urban Attic, this is what it turned into.
I upcycled picture frames to create this earring holder. It looks a little crazy with the big white index cards behind the earrings, but I haven’t quite figured out how I want to approach this. Currently, the cards say what the earrings are made out of, and how to care for them, but I may shorten it, and try to squeeze onto the kraft paper tags you see.
The coasters are inside of a bread basket – perfect size for crocheted coasters (and washcloths too!).
I used large necklace displays for cowls.
The scarves that I didn’t have room to hang, I just folded in half, and half again, and laid them out together in a crate.
This is the booth that is across from me. Really love the use of the chair as a hanging display.
What a pretty “birdhouse”.
Wine cork board!
Crocheted roosters hang down from this set of curtains!
The vendor from the back room has set her booth up beautifully! Walking in there, it is almost like being in a studio apartment, and so cozy!
I want that pot holder hanging on the left!
Lost socks anyone?
Pallet wood upcycles.
Cute chicken shadowbox.
Gorgeous little table!
From this booth, the owner does custom wood pieces, including the table!
You can custom order your own wooden farmhouse table!
This is going to sound really funny, but this is above the bathroom sink – I think it’s just a beautiful use of space.
