I love when you share my projects, and recipes! But please be respectful, and adhere by the following:

Do not copy and paste my posts anywhere, rather you should link to them so others can follow the link, and view for themselves. Number 1, copying and pasting someone else’s content is illegal. Number 2, I earn my income based on the pageviews my blog sees.

Do not sell my patterns, or posts! This is also illegal.

You may NOT translate my patterns or posts into another language, and share elsewhere – see copying and pasting above. You MAY contact me if you wish to translate a pattern or post, and I will host it here on the EyeLoveKnots blog with credit to you for translating.

You may use one photo with link back when sharing my post/photos. Do not alter them.

Do you have a crochet directory site? You DO NOT have permission to include my patterns here in individual posts unless I give consent, and you DO NOT have permission to use my photos on social media sites (like Pinterest and Facebook for example) linked back to your blog page. You are taking traffic away from me for personal gain, and misleading makers. Crochet Pattern Bonanza and Prime Publishing (ie AllFreeCrochet, FaveCrafts, Cheap Thrifty Home, DIYideaCenter, AllFreeKnitting, AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns, AllFreeHolidaysCrafts, etc) are THE ONLY TWO with permission to include my patterns because I submit these to them.

I will stress, that sharing the process (or graph in some cases), on sites such as Facebook or Pinterest, allows makers to see everything they need to work up the project, WITHOUT returning to my site to do so. I earn income based on the number of views to my blog, so I need the views. I would love to continue to share free patterns and tutorials with you here on the EyeLoveKnots blog.

Feel free to sell items made from my patterns and tutorials. Designer credit, and a link back is very much appreciated, but not required.

If you would like to share any pattern or tutorial with friends or family, please provide them the link to which they can access it themselves, rather than simply printing them off a copy. Again, this goes back to the views.

I do not personally collect this data, but Google Analytics does provide me with this information in my stats.

I will add that, if you subscribe to my newsletter, MadMimi does provide me with a list of which email addresses opened the newsletter, and which links you clicked on from it.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. In regards to giveaways ran here on the EyeLoveKnots blog, I do use Rafflecopter to help manage giveaways. Rafflecopter is a separate company that has it’s own set of privacy policies and terms of use, which may be viewed on their Site, but they do provide me with names, the country a User is entering from, and an email address I can use to contact said User. To use this feature, you may be prompted to enter your email address, or log in via Facebook. Note, I do not have access to your Facebook information. Each entry asks for information from you, such as where you left a comment, or what your user name is for sites such as Twitter or Pinterest. I do have access to these user names, but nothing else. I may also reach out to some who leave comments on the Rafflecopter entries by email. If there is a third party sponsoring the giveaway, the User’s (you) name, and email address will be given to the third party so they may fulfill item shipment. In regards to newsletters sent from EyeLoveKnots, I do use MadMimi to send them. MadMimi is a separate company that also has it’s own set of privacy policies and terms of use, which may be viewed on their Site, but I am able to log into an account I have created on their Site, and obtain your names and email address that have either been inputted by me, Alexandra of EyeLoveKnots, because YOU have inputted yourself via the EyeLoveKnots Newsletter sign up boxes found on the Site. I use these email addresses to send out the respective newsletters. Each link within a newsletter has tracking pixels, used to how much traffic each one is getting, and because of these tracking pixels, I can see your email address, and which link you follow. I do not share this information with anyone else, but I may use this information to tailor future posts/content on the EyeLoveKnots Site and/or newsletters.

I am able to see your email and IP address and the time stamp from when you submitted the link. The only information used from InLinkz is how many clicks to each URL to determine the most clicked project.
