Back around the time that I picked up crocheting, I worked front desk for a hotel downtown. Katie Smith was one of the few that trained me to do the job. I have since left the hotel, but still keep in touch with friends that still work there. We lost Katie Smith back in April to Leukemia. She was such a kind, funny and hardworking person who touched many lives and is greatly missed.
Her birthday was this past Monday so we went out and put a floral wreath out for her, and paid our respects.
