How Many Words: Cozy Wool Mittens

October 28, 2020

Free printable for a favorite game of mine, how many words make you make from… Cozy Wool Mittens!

Welcome back to year 6 of our Festive Christmas Event!

In this event, we team up with a bunch of talented blogging friends to bring you a plethora of creative ways to celebrate your holiday season.

We will be baking some cookie recipes for you, sharing some party games, making some handmade gifts, doing some ornament crafting, and sharing our Christmas movies family fun. There will be breakfast recipes and as always our decorated Christmas Trees which is always a fun tour of homes.

You will find new ideas every Monday and Wednesday between Oct. 19th through Nov. 18th. Scroll all the way down to find all the ideas linked at the end.

Today the theme is holiday game!

I am sharing one of my favorites that my Grandma got me into. I can remember at our family parties, my Grandma would usually have some papers with a hand written phrase across the top that coordinated with the holiday we were celebrating.

I want to print this out right this minute and set a timer for 60 seconds. I LOVE this game idea. It will definitely be played at my house during the holiday season.

So glad you like it! I was saying words out loud just looking at the phrase as I was putting this together. Hehe.

Oh I remember playing games like that as a kid! I can’t wait until my boys are old enough to start doing fun games like this! πŸ™‚ thanks for the reminder! πŸ™‚

Hope that you are having a good week! It’s a pretty stormy one here but the rain is very welcome πŸ™‚

Usually I am always in for games, especially creative one – but since I started distance teaching, I don’t have time to look at myself in the mirror, lol! Looks like a fun game! Love those mitts!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden orΒ re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
