Yarn Fanatic Party #33 – Snappy Tots Crochet Pattern Giveaway

April 20, 2015

Welcome to the 33rd Yarn Fanatic Link Party, and my 16th as co-host, alongside Rachel from The Philosopher’s Wife.

Yesterday, I shared a Basic Washcloth Crochet Pattern Review. I was pattern testing for Amanda of AmandasImagination on Etsy. They came out a great shape and size, and I will surely be working up some more!

Party Side Note: I really would love to see more participation among everyone! There are a lot of great designs, inspiration and projects being shared with us! Please make sure you are visiting other links shared.

If you have any ideas for fun things you’d like to see or do in this party – please comment below!

Most Clicked:

Left to Right:
Doily and Table Runner from Lunamon Design. I love how Monica includes a variety of color options for us. Though there isn’t a pattern attached, this is a great inspiration piece! And by looking at the different color schemes, we can see that this is perfect for any season or holiday!

Armbands from Lunamon Design. These are very cute! I have a soft spot for shells. I just love these!

EyeLoveKnots Yarn Favorites:

From Left to Right, Top to Bottom:

Kari Traa Lookalike Hat from Solin World. I just love knit items. They have such beautiful stitches and textures. This slouchy hat is no exception.

Doily Bunting from 5 Little Monsters. This doily bunting is just the sweetest! I LOVE it! Will be going to pick my yarn for it soon. As you know, I am trying to prepare myself to start flea markets and such. I think this piece will be a great item to hang so people can see it from afar.
AND – includes a free pattern for us πŸ™‚

Braided Slouchy Hat from Chaleur Life. As my love for knit look items grows, so does my love for crochet cables! That way I can get the look too. Love this little hat! And with so many color options – this is great! Free pattern included.

Beach Shawl from Posh Pooch Designs. This is such a lovely shawl. Sara shows a few ways to wear this shawl, including as a beach cover up. I may change to a cotton yarn though, if intended to use this as a cover up.

Halter Top from A Day in My Life. Though there isn’t a free pattern attached, Crystal gives up some tips to create a halter top for yourself! I know I have made a few similar tops based off of my measurements and they always come out so lovely and cute! I wouldn’t use the glamour yarn though. It’s a very rough and scratchy yarn due to the metallic within it, but any Fine (2) yarn should work for this top! No need to stick to it though because it’s custom made. Experiment with different yarns! See what you like best.
Great job Crystal!

Granny Mandala from My World of Crochet. This mandala is perfect as we are in Spring now and transitioning into Summer. The center reminds me of a sun, but also has a floral feel to it. Gorgeous use of colors.

Little Bears from Linda’s Crafty Corner as part of Five on Friday. This post is particularly relative for us because Linda touches base on the beginning of her blogging adventure. You know, back when we started our first posts not knowing what to say, how to say it, how to photograph, etc. When comments and followers were scarce but we persevered. Thanks for sharing Linda! The bears are just adorable, and the reason for your collection is awesome.

Odd Shape Pillows from Atelier Marie-Lucienne. Hexagon pillows! Such a neat idea, and different type of piece for your couch or bed. I especially love the buttons. I am sure these are for the ease of changing and cleaning, but they are great decorative pieces as well. Neat idea! Beautiful Pillows Marjan!

My Philosopher Favorite:

I just LOVE this Shell Stitch Baby Blanket Pattern by Rachel of the Philosopher’s Wife!! Shell Stitches are so sweet, not to mention the beautiful Spring colors she chose for this blanket!

Left to Right, Top to Bottom:
Ashmar Garden Hat, Beach Beauty Bag, Betsy [and Ross] Sun Hats, Shaaark Hoooded Scarf, Baby Pirate Cocoon, Sweet Treat Tote Bag, Adjustable Visor with Flower, Nautical Garden Flag

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden orΒ re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
