I’ve been working on my yarn stash. I’ve pulled out the yarns I no longer find myself working with, and I’ve got them all together to do some destash giveaways!
I do reuse this blog post for destash giveaways, so pay no attention to it’s post date, but do check out the date on the main photo to see when this giveaway will end, and a winner will be drawn.
There is quite a variety in my large box of yarn – yarns you can find at your local Michaels, JoAnn’s and Hobby Lobby stores.
The box ONE WINNER receives will be a MYSTERY box. I will take yarn out of my big box, and fill a medium flat rate shipping box (from the USPS), and this will be my gift to you!
Special Note: I have two cats. They do not mingle with my yarn, but you may find a couple cat hairs on the yarn you receive – it’s hard to avoid.

International Makers: I always like to include everyone! If you are outside the US, you can still enter to win, but you will receive a digital gift from me. Maybe my Let’s Crochet Some Scarves Vol 1 eBook? Many others to choose from in my pattern shop.
I included several ways to enter (through the Rafflecopter below). To be entered in the giveaway, you only need to complete one task, but the more you do, the better your chances. Some of them you can come back and do again once a day! Last time to enter will be Sunday 10/22/22 at 11:59pm EST.
*The Rafflecopter works. I receive a lot of messages each time I run a giveaway stating it’s not working. If you can’t see it, please check your browser in case you have any apps/settings that may prevent it from showing, or try clearing your cache. Entering via the Rafflecopter is the only way to gain entries.
a Rafflecopter giveawayMust be 18 years or older to enter. Open to all countries. Void where prohibited. Winner has 48 hours to respond to email notification, or another winner will be chosen. Alexandra (that’s me!) of EyeLoveKnots is responsible for prize fulfillment.

I’m brand new to crochet and I would love to get different types of yarn to learn with!!
Welcome to the beautiful, fun world of crochet! Let me know if I can help in any way.
I start crocheting with I was about 13 or so and fell in love. I don’t usually stick with crafts but crochet has been one for me. And I’m now a senior in high school
Working part time (about 25 hrs a week) and going to school full time (about 35hrs a week) usually leave me tired and crochet is something I can easily grab to do will relaxing.
I love buying yarn but not in the place to afford nice quality.
I can completely relate! I find crocheting so relaxing, especially if I am having a rough day.
Surprisingly, there are quite a few yarns you can pick up at your local craft store that are good quality for their affordable pricing – doesn’t require expensive yarn from a boutique. My favorite worsted weight yarn is Lion Brand’s Wool Ease, and Bernat’s Blanket Yarn is excellent for blankets that will be worn and washed a lot.
Oh wow! I’m so excited for a chance to win some yarn! Thank you!
Agreed! Who doesn’t like free yarn??
Hehe! I am right there with you!
Husband says I have too much yarn, if you ask me there is never enough. Love yarn!!
Definitely never enough! I try to explain that to my husband too. “Yeah, but I don’t have this color.” Haha!
Alexandra, this sounds like so much fun! I can’t join in because my husband is deathly allergic to cats. I really appreciate you adding that information! If it wasn’t for that, I’d be vying for the box in a New York minute! Early congrats to the lucky winner!

Sucks for his allergy, but glad the message helped. I don’t want to put anyone out.
Thanks for sharing part of your stash with the lucky winner!
Happy to!
Alexandra, I would love to win a free stash of yarn..I live in Montreal, Canada and noticed that you may have some Yarn Bee in that stash which I would love to try (can’t get here)..we crocheters never have enough yarn and I’m almost finished all my “unfinished” projects from 2019 so will probably start to Ned a little more. Have a great day and hope to be a winner!

I would be happy to send you some to try out (but shipping to Canada can get a little pricey). Feel free to email me.
What a nice giveaway!
I am trying hard not to buy more yarn until I use up some of my current stash. But nothing says I can’t win more yarn! Thanks for the opportunity.
Haha! Good point!
This is such a generous idea! Thanks!
This is awesome, so thoughtful of you to de-stash your yarn and give it away! I’m falling behind on my WIPs and will be catching up shortly!
would love to win this I’m currently fighting diability and crocheting keeps me sane.
Best wishes!
Thank you for the opportunity. Would love to win this.
Ooh! This is exciting!
This is very kind of you. I believe everyone should pay it forward.
Thanks, Kristi! I try 😉
thank you for the chance to win some of your yarn. a great idea to share.
nice of you to have a contest. thank you
Sharing some of your lovely yarn is so generous of you – and greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you for being so generous and giving us a chance to win!
What a great giveaway. I would love to win since I can’t always afford yarn with my budget. Good Luck to everyone.
I know how that is, Susan! Best wishes.
What fun! Someone will really enjoy your generosity!
Thanks!
How wonderful of you to offer your stash up. I am disabled and of Social Security so don’t have much money to buy yarn. Would love to win some of yours. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much, Scarlet! And that’s why I love doing giveaways! I am running a little behind in choosing a winner, but I will in just a bit after I catch up on the rest of my comments.
I would love a mystery box of yarn. I do lots of charity crocheting,
That’s so great! I used to donate preemie hats to an organization. They’re taking a break at the moment, and it seems none of my local baby hospitals are looking for hats. I love the idea of little babies in cozy hats.
How amazing of you yo offer such an awesome gift. Good luck to all and thank you for the opportunity. Requested all 3 of your pages.
Thank you so much, Mary!
Hi I would love to win yarn I do make all sorts of new things for children and adults and I do teach arts and crafts.
I love that! Fingers crossed. I am running a little behind in picking a winner, but will be doing it in just a bit after I catch up on my comments.
I love crocheting so relaxing. With a disabled husband I buy all my yarn from thrift stores so this would help me a lot. I’m the only one in the family my grandmother could teach.
It definitely is relaxing! Glad to know that yarn I donate to my local thrift store goes to awesome makers like you!
Great way to destash. I’m currently trying to destash my pile so good luck to the winner.
Funny how it grows out of control so quickly on ya, huh? I envy those who have small stashes, and only 1 or 2 WIPs. Great control!
Agreed! Who doesn’t like free yarn??
Hehe! I am right there with ya!
I love yarn….
Hehe. Me too!
I cannot find any Eye Love Knots on Ravelry.com. Do I need to search under some different “name”?
This is my Ravelry page -> https://www.ravelry.com/designers/alexandra-of-eyeloveknots
thanks for the great ideas and encouragement.
One can never have too much yarn! 😁 Thanks for the giveaway!
Absolutely correct! Hehe!
Your work is amazing
Thanks so much!
This would be awesome. I love to knit but I haven’t bought any yarn in a few years.
Thank you for the opportunity to win some yarn! It is very generous, and someone will love to create with it.
I love these stash busters, I collect and provide with crochet/knit kits to the areas that have gone through major disasters. Thus the stash would go a long way toward the Florida disaster
This warms my heart to hear!
So many really nice patterns and projects! I have not yet made one; but I do have a few of them and look forward to making them soon.
Yarn addict here, can never have enough
I must agree!
Thank you for the opportunity.
Thanks for a great giveaway!
Thank you so much for the opportunity to win more yarn! One can never have too much yarn! hehe
I totally agree!
Would love to win some yarn!
Thank you for this giveaway. With cold weather on the way, it would be great to have yarn for projects.
I would love to grow my yarn stash!
