I’ve been working on my yarn stash. I’ve pulled out the yarns I no longer find myself working with, and I’ve got them all together to do some destash giveaways!
I do reuse this blog post for destash giveaways, so pay no attention to it’s post date, but do check out the date on the main photo to see when this giveaway will end, and a winner will be drawn.
There is quite a variety in my large box of yarn – yarns you can find at your local Michaels, JoAnn’s and Hobby Lobby stores.
The box ONE WINNER receives will be a MYSTERY box. I will take yarn out of my big box, and fill a medium flat rate shipping box (from the USPS), and this will be my gift to you!
Special Note: I have two cats. They do not mingle with my yarn, but you may find a couple cat hairs on the yarn you receive – it’s hard to avoid.
International Makers: I always like to include everyone! If you are outside the US, you can still enter to win, but you will receive a digital gift from me. Maybe my Let’s Crochet Some Scarves Vol 1 eBook? Many others to choose from in my pattern shop.
I included several ways to enter (through the Rafflecopter below). To be entered in the giveaway, you only need to complete one task, but the more you do, the better your chances. Some of them you can come back and do again once a day! Last time to enter will be Sunday 10/22/22 at 11:59pm EST.
*The Rafflecopter works. I receive a lot of messages each time I run a giveaway stating it’s not working. If you can’t see it, please check your browser in case you have any apps/settings that may prevent it from showing, or try clearing your cache. Entering via the Rafflecopter is the only way to gain entries.
a Rafflecopter giveawayMust be 18 years or older to enter. Open to all countries. Void where prohibited. Winner has 48 hours to respond to email notification, or another winner will be chosen. Alexandra (that’s me!) of EyeLoveKnots is responsible for prize fulfillment.

I’m brand new to crochet and I would love to get different types of yarn to learn with!!
Alexandra says
Welcome to the beautiful, fun world of crochet! Let me know if I can help in any way.
Samara Howell says
I start crocheting with I was about 13 or so and fell in love. I don’t usually stick with crafts but crochet has been one for me. And I’m now a senior in high school
Working part time (about 25 hrs a week) and going to school full time (about 35hrs a week) usually leave me tired and crochet is something I can easily grab to do will relaxing.
I love buying yarn but not in the place to afford nice quality.
Alexandra says
I can completely relate! I find crocheting so relaxing, especially if I am having a rough day.
Surprisingly, there are quite a few yarns you can pick up at your local craft store that are good quality for their affordable pricing – doesn’t require expensive yarn from a boutique. My favorite worsted weight yarn is Lion Brand’s Wool Ease, and Bernat’s Blanket Yarn is excellent for blankets that will be worn and washed a lot.
Angela says
Oh wow! I’m so excited for a chance to win some yarn! Thank you!
Cheri says
Agreed! Who doesn’t like free yarn??
Alexandra says
Hehe! I am right there with you!
MINTA FUNG says
Husband says I have too much yarn, if you ask me there is never enough. Love yarn!!
Alexandra says
Definitely never enough! I try to explain that to my husband too. “Yeah, but I don’t have this color.” Haha!
Michelle says
Alexandra, this sounds like so much fun! I can’t join in because my husband is deathly allergic to cats. I really appreciate you adding that information! If it wasn’t for that, I’d be vying for the box in a New York minute! Early congrats to the lucky winner!

Have a great day and hope to be a winner!

I would love a mystery box of yarn. I do lots of charity crocheting,
Alexandra says
That’s so great! I used to donate preemie hats to an organization. They’re taking a break at the moment, and it seems none of my local baby hospitals are looking for hats. I love the idea of little babies in cozy hats.

I love crocheting so relaxing. With a disabled husband I buy all my yarn from thrift stores so this would help me a lot. I’m the only one in the family my grandmother could teach.
Alexandra says
It definitely is relaxing! Glad to know that yarn I donate to my local thrift store goes to awesome makers like you!
CraftAtticResources says
Great way to destash. I’m currently trying to destash my pile so good luck to the winner.

Funny how it grows out of control so quickly on ya, huh? I envy those who have small stashes, and only 1 or 2 WIPs. Great control!
