Blogging World: Have You Tried Bloglovin’ Yet?

January 12, 2015

Wow! I just discovered BlogLovin’. It’s so neat that now I can follow all of the blogs I love to read, all in one place!

It’s so quick and easy to get set up! You can either enter a few lines of information to begin, or log in with your Facebook account. As soon as you are in, there is a guide for you for the first few steps.

Many of the blogs that I follow regularly were on the top of the lists that Bloglovin’ prompted me with to get me started.

After quickly following all the blogs I recognized, I explored around a bit.

The “My feed” tab allows you to see a small summary from each of the blogs you follow – similar to your home page on Facebook.

The “Explore” tab allows you to search and discover other blog posts – similar to Pinterest.

The “Find Blogs” tab allows you to search and discover new blogs, or ones that you are familiar with but haven’t discovered on Bloglovin’ yet.

There’s also an option to add a Bloglovin’ button to your internet task bar, right next to your Pinterest and Brittany’s Best icons (if you have those of course!) The button keeps you up to date on the blogs you want to follow, and notifies you when something new has been added. How helpful!

If you are like me and nervous about trying new things, don’t fret Bloglovin’! It’s easy, quick, convenient, and fun; and I am so glad that Rachel of The Philosopher’s Wife suggested I try it!

If you haven’t yet, please Follow my blog with Bloglovin!

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden or re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
