I have been working on several projects at once – story of my life – ha!

Yesterday and today, I have been focusing on the Baby’s Frilly Dress. I love this dress pattern. It is gorgeous! I have been working this dress in Bernat‘s Cottonish Yarn in the Crimson Twine colorway. It is a beautiful, soft red color.
This is my second time working up one of these Frilly Dresses – though not posted, I have a Pattern Review from the first time working this dress from June 2014 still sitting in my Draft Box. Whoops! Better late than never though. Hehe.
I have been inspired by this dress to work up a similar tank top for myself. You will see that here when I begin. For now, it’s just on the list.
As mentioned in the most recent Yarn Fanatic Linky Party #26, I have worked up some Ribbed Boy’s Hats.
For these, I’ve used the Crochet Pattern for Pumpkin Beanies from Crochet by Jennifer, and worked in Hobby Lobby‘s I Love This Cotton Yarn in the Denims, Dark Denim, and Pale Denims colorways.
This is one of my go-to patterns – will have a review up shortly.
To go with the Boy’s Blues Hat Set, I have some matching diaper covers. As you can see, these are still a Work in Progress. I am using the Crochet Pattern for Pumpkin Diaper Cover from Crochet by Jennifer.
For these, I used the leftover yarn from the hats. I think I will have just enough to finish the solid colors, but have already ran out of yarn for the variegated one. I will be going to Hobby Lobby on Friday to get some more yarn.
I have worked up this set a few times in other colors and sizes. You can see my Pumpkin Hat and Diaper Cover Review for more information, but I will be posting a more detailed review on the hat soon. Since I haven’t gotten any feedback on the diaper covers yet, I have nothing more to add and no adjustments. However, these are going to a photographer friend of mine who will be helping with photos and feedback. I am looking forward to it.
I have a baby blanket down on paper that I would like to work up to go with the set. I initially decided to work this set as a gift for a family member, but now I will be sharing with a couple friends too. Pattern will be ready soon!
Aside from baby blankets, I LOVE working up scarves. This is a teaser for the Lacy Infinity Scarf pattern I will be releasing soon. One size will be for free on the blog, and the remaining sizes will be for sale in my EyeLoveKnots Etsy shop. Sizes will include Toddler, Child and Teen/Adult, with a possibility of a large adult size.
I have been using one of my favorite yarns, I Love This Cotton Yarn. The colorway shown is Mulberry.
I don’t think I will ever get tired of this beautiful lacy look, so be on the look out for many more patterns to come!
I have been working Madison’s Purplicious Afghan on and off for a couple months. It started around the middle to end of December when I was working on Tammy’s Granny Square Lapghan.
This afghan is named after my little cousin, Madison, and I am sure you can guess the rest.
It is a combination of three stitches squares and joined after. Since it was for a little girl, I tried to choose a more feminine look of stitches.
Here, I am using Red Heart‘s With Love Yarn in Plum Jam, Boysenberry, Lilac and White.
This blanket pattern will be a paid pattern once it is complete. Patterns included will be for the three squares, along with a photo tutorial on the joining process and invisible join, and include sizes for a Photo Mini Blanket, Baby, Toddler, and Child.
Tyler’s Deep Blues Blanket came along after I started Madison’s.
This blanket is named after my little cousin, Tyler, brother to Madison. I wanted to make sure both of them get one.
The challenge for this one was using more masculine stitches since for a boy.
For this blanket, I am using Red Heart‘s With Love Yarn in Deep Blue, Navy, Bluebell and White.

Non-Yarn Related, I have worked on a few jewelry pieces. I have three earring DIY’s to post, and then I will post on this beautiful, braided seed bead necklace. It’s so incredibly easy, you will wonder why you have thought of it yourself!
Lastly, I received my first package from Annie’s CardMaker Kit of the Month Club! Yay!
I LOVE making my own cards, party invitations and other paper projects, though none have been shared here. I decided to subscribe to the CardMaker Kit of the Month Club so I could slowly build up my collection of supplies and work on my techniques along the way.
Each month I will receive a new package with new supplies, and instructions for making the featured projects and learning the featured technique.
Can’t wait to get started! I will be sharing my projects as they are done.

I always have a few WIP's going, that way I don't get bored and things get finished. I have lots I "want to do" but I need to finish this huge blanket first. Thats the first WIP thats going to get finished. Your purple afghan is going to be so pretty, and those diaper covers are adorable. Sadly, I am too old for babies, and my son is too young for them but one day I hope to get to crochet baby things. I am a bag maker, and I do one day, quick projects for the satisfaction, I just love them. You know what kind of crocheter you are when you feel like you are making the same thing in a different color every time. I cant help it! I love your blog, your work is great. Thanks for sharing!

Crochet A Day In The Life
I can definitely relate. I can't get enough of hats and matching scarves. hehe. And baby blankets, since I don't have the patience for a full size afghan. I sure do appreciate you stopping by and dropping me a line 🙂
