Snickerdoodle Create Bake Make Link Party 327

March 21, 2020

Spring Features include Penny’s Vintage Home, My Recipe Treasures, Walking on Sunshine, My Hubbard Home and An Artful Mom.

Welcome to the Snickerdoodle Create Bake Make Link Party 327!

I am a little late to the party. I got distracted! I have been working in my yard for the past two days. You can see peeks of my progress on Instagram. Right now, I feel like I am doing a lot of weed pulling. Reminds me of the gray hair saying – pull one, and two pop out, but I filled my three trash cans, and am feeling pretty proud. I am pretty new to gardening, so if you have any advice, I’d love to have it!

As soon as I am done with my computer work for the day, I will be working on a back piece for a new quilt inspired throw pillow I am working on. I am pretty proud of it – see a peek on Instagram. I have the whole front piece done, and one of the back pieces. Can’t wait to put it together, and add it to my Spring decor. I have two more pieces after the pillow that I want to add, and then I will be sharing my Spring decor. I’m loving it.

Color Street News: Spring designs have arrived – woo! I just received my order yesterday, and I am having trouble deciding which set to put on first. LOVING the new designs! Thanks so much for featuring my brush marker storage post!! You made my morning! I love having flowers, but I hate the weeding. (My husband doesn’t mind it, so he usually does it.) OUr yard now doesn’t have much space for a vegetable garden, but I’m thinking of having some raised beds on the side of the house. Thanks for hosting!

Funny because I forget to water my plants, and they usually don’t last, but my husband loves to do it, and does it every day when he comes home from work. All about team work, right?

For now, my veggie garden is in containers, but I do have a tiny space right in front of the entry where I would like to gut it, and make it one big raised bed. We shall see how that goes.

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden or re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
