Snickerdoodle Create Bake Make Link Party 320

February 1, 2020

Welcome to the Snickerdoodle Create Bake Make Link Party 320!

A few days ago, I left my fur babies and husband in the Sunshine State, and flew out to New Jersey to visit with some of my family. New Jersey is my favorite place to be. I love that everywhere we go, we are driving around a big mountain, and crop fields, and I especially love the small town feel.

I can tell you that as a Floridian where a lot of our Winter weather is in the high 60s to high 70s, packing for a New Jersey Winter trip is not easy. I’ll give you an example. I only own ankle socks, so even though I took my favorite boots, I neglected to think about tall socks for my boot cut jeans with the 20 to 40 degree weather. Thank goodness for Walmart, right? Ha!

Always great connecting with family though, and the change in weather and scenery is quite refreshing.

Please follow your hosts on one or more social media platforms. We’d love to connect! Let us know you’re following from the party. We’d love to follow you back!

Isn’t it fun to go visit family!?! I understand about the higher socks – in these colder climates we need to be able to cover everything this time of year! Thank you so much for featuring our Disneyland Copycat Churro Toffee. It is so fun to make, and even more fun to eat. Thank you too for hosting the party. Have a great week.

The good thing was, it was really nice the whole time I was there, so the high socks weren’t an issue (this time).

How nice that you got to visit with family. You are so lucky that you don’t need the warm socks most of the time! We have actually had a pretty mild winter here in Missouri. We broke a record yesterday–68 degrees! Thanks for hosting today!

WOW! That’s pretty much what our Winter is in Florida, haha! But with a ton more humidity, which actually makes it worse sometimes.
