Yarn Fanatic Party #46 – NeverEnoughThymeYarn Giveaway!

July 19, 2015

Welcome to the 46th Yarn Fanatic Link Party, and my 29th as co-host, alongside Rachel from The Philosopher’s Wife.

**This link up will last through Sunday, August 23rd at 6:00pm EST. The giveaway will also last through this time. We encourage you to come back daily for a new chance at earning more entries, and continuing to link up your projects! Enjoy your summer! And thank you for being a part of our Yarn Fanatic family πŸ™‚

Also be on the look our for project round ups from previous Yarn Fanatic Parties. I am excited to put some together! And share to with you!

This week I have been chugging away with the shorter amount of time I have had this week. I wasn’t able to get anything up on the blog, but I have two posts already written up with photos edited and scheduled. Be on the look out for:

A free crochet pattern for an Adult Slanted Shell Slouchie Hat.
Scheduled for Wednesday at 6:00pm EST.
A free plastic canvas pattern and jewelry DIY for the Round-ish Plastic Canvas Earrings in 3 Sizes.
Scheduled for Thursday at 6:00pm EST.

What have you been working on? Let’s see below!

Most Clicked:

Left to Right:

Bella from Lunamon Design. This tunic is so pretty! If you are a regular here at EyeLoveKnots, you know just how much I LOVE the knit look! This Bella tunic is no exception. The yarn used sounds soft and lightweight – perfect for this time of year. Link to knit pattern included.

Crochet Jar Cover from Penny Hill. What a beautiful, simple and quick project to add to your home decor. It’s a little touch that can greatly bring up the feel of the room. It would also make a great gift. Last month I bought flowers and pretty vases for my cousin and aunts birthday. This would have been a nice touch to the vases.

EyeLoveKnots Yarn Favorites:

Left to Right, Top to Bottom:

Triangle Cushions from Atelier Marie Lucienne. Marjan always creates such beautifully colored crocheted items. I am in love with this trio of crocheted cushions, especially the neat shape of the triangle one.

Crocheted Paillette Necklace from KBB Crafts. I LOVE THIS!! I have been looking at crocheted beaded necklaces over the last few days and I attempted two bracelets and didn’t have much luck with them because the beads were not sitting right, and were on the wrong side of my work but this post has inspired me to try again! I just need a teeny tiny crochet hook. Oh, I am so excited!

Rainbow Road Scarf from The Knot Theorist. This scarf is just so beautiful! The color pattern with the sequins are so lovely! I want to head right over to my local Hobby Lobby to pick up some of this yarn! Link to crochet pattern included.

Hoop Art from My World of Crochet. This is such a fun addition to any wall! But especially this summer as it is full of fun, bright colors and a pretty summery looking flower pattern. Link to free crochet pattern included.
Attach some hanging beads and this could pass as a dream catcher.

Fleece Comforter Hippopotamus from A Dream Around the World. These little fleece blankets are soooooo adorable! I hope I get invited to a baby shower soon so I have an excuse to work up a few of these! Link to free crochet pattern included.

Lily Pond Square from Hakelfieber. These Lily Pond Squares are so pretty! I definitely need to work up an afghan using these and a frog (or two) amigurumis. Link to free crochet pattern included.

Beautiful photo by NeverEnoughThymeYarn of the Wild Melon Mini Skein Set

Skeins included are 90 yards each, superwash (yay!) and merino/nylon fingering weight. This is such a great deal, and full of such beautiful colors! Use this yarn to create some socks, a shawl, mitts, and other fun, lightweight projects.

Outside of the giveaway, this set is available for purchase: Wild Melon Mini Set 5 Skeins for $30 – what a steal!

Make sure to visit the NeverEnoughThymeYarn Shop to check out the other beautiful hand-dyed yarns! Other mini skein sets include: Harbor, Harvest, Dahlia and Tropical Oasis to name a few.

I think there might be an error in the way the Daily "Add your link to the party" entry works…I added mine, but, the next day, those 5 entries disappeared; I think it's happened two days in a row. So, the only way I can figure out how to get those 5 entries is to paste my link in the day the giveaway ends.

You are encouraged to come back daily to add new links and earn additional entries. Every day it starts over so you can reenter. I will double check with Rachel and see if we can see if your links have been included, and get back to you.

Okay! Got confirmation from Rachel that all is good with the Rafflecopter. All daily options reset the next day so you can gain additional entries by completing them again. Means if you make and share 3 yarny posts in one week, you can share one each day for more entries. And this giveaway will last a month so you have lots of time to share and enter πŸ™‚

So, just to clarify…If I have 17/17 entries, and then I come back the next day and only see that I have 12/17 entries, those five entries which disappeared have been saved somewhere else? I'm sorry for being so obtuse, it's just that I'm used to a new entry row being added/total number of possible entries increasing!
Anyways, thanks so much for hosting the link-up, and for featuring my Neverending Wildflower square in a previous party!

I am honored, thank you so much for clicking on my Bella Link. My daughter loves the tunic. And you are correct regardign the yarn. It is a bit heavy and shiny, wonderful to wear and it looks so good on. Since it is a bit heavy it falls perfectly down her body. Have a nice week end.

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden orΒ re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
