Fall Recipe and Craft Finds to include a pumpkin nutella recipe, vintage inspired super duo bracelet tutorial, pumpkin spice sugar scrub recipe, free striped boot cuff crochet pattern, and free women’s poncho sewing pattern.
Here are some nice, warm Fall finds – perfect transition into Thanksgiving.
I always love to share awesome patterns, tutorials, and finds with ya! If you would like to see a review on any of them, feel free to drop me a line!
Tasty Find – Delicious Pumpkin Nutella Bars Recipe from A Cultivated Nest:
What to do when you have leftover pumpkin puree? Make some of these Delicious Pumpkin Nutella Bars! I can only imagine the yummy combination of the nutella hazelnut/chocolate with the pumpkin pie flavor.
In place of the nutmeg, ginger, allspice and cinnamon, I might use some pumpkin pie spice – since I already have some in my cabinet.
Beauty/Jewelry Find – Vintage Copper Bracelet (Free Jewelry DIY) from Fusion Beads:
When planning this week’s picks, I had all but a jewelry find. Glancing through Fusion Beads site for a piece, I spotted this beauty! The colors fit perfectly with the other finds for this week, and I just fell in love with the woven design (and the colors too!). This bracelet is made using a herringbone stitch pattern, and there is a video tutorial linked 🙂
DIY Find – Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub Cubes from Darice Blog:
Sugar scrubs feel excellent to exfoliate with. This little jar of Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub Cubes would make an awesome gift idea with a set of facial scrubbies, like my Robin’s Egg Facial Scrubbies, and maybe some matching washcloths, like my Robin’s Egg Washcloths. They’re also a great make to pamper yourself with!
Yarny Find – Seasonal Stripes Boot Cuffs (Free Crochet Pattern) from Crochet N’ Crafts:
I love the ribbed, textured look of these boot cuffs, paired with with fun color changes. I will admit that it does look a little intimidating to with said color changes, but with carrying the yarn throughout, it makes for a not-so-scary project, and if you don’t want to change colors, you could always make a pair in a solid color.
Made in super fine (#1) yarn, this set will take a little extra time, but work in a neutral set of colors for a set you can wear all Fall, Winter and Spring long!
Stitching Find – Ladies Asymmetrical Poncho (Free Sewing Pattern) from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom:
This poncho is so fun with the color blocked pattern, but you could easily work it in one color only, or in any color combination like a cream on top, and maroon on the bottom great for fall and winter, or a white on top, and aqua color on bottom for a winter and spring look. Lots of color possibilities!
Work in a lighter stretch knit fabric for a poncho perfect for summer traveling! Pattern available in women’s Small/Medium and Large/Extra Large.
