Mini Kitty – Crochet Pattern Review
The Mini Kitty pattern by Crafty Kat is a super easy, super quick, no-sew pattern! I love how you can easily make tons of different kitties just by changing up the color of your yarn. While you can add color changes to this pattern, they still look fantastic all in one color, which makes them super easy for market prep! While such a simple pattern, they have so much personality. I’m already working on making a ton more for my upcoming craft shows!

MCM Throw Blanket – Crochet Pattern Review
I wanted to add a little color and a pattern that stood out but was calming and chill at the same time. When I scrolled down and spotted the MCM Throw from Knits ‘N Knots, I instantly knew it was my choice. Right away, it just clicked. It’s a timeless motif with the gorgeous half circles, two colors so I could combine a calm neutral with a bold deep tone like I wanted…and of course, Janine is one of my favorite designers. I didn’t even think any further or make a short-list of my choices, that was it. I saw it and clicked “purchase pattern”.

Easy Granny Hexagon Cardigan – Crochet Pattern Review
I chose this pattern in particular because it was very basic and straightforward, plus it adds a really cute scalloped edge that I actually ended up skipping for my own version. I liked the look and wanted to do it, but then in the end my cardigan has a lot of color and I just thought adding that extra texture would push it a little over the edge. This pattern was very easy, and I’m grateful for that. Sometimes you need a nice simple repetitive pattern in an old familiar stitch! Granny stitch always comes in handy when you want a project that works up quickly and isn’t too heavy or stiff. It gives a good drape for wearables and is warm without being stifling.
Colour Block Granny Scarf – Crochet Pattern Review
This is a very simple pattern based on a very popular stitch. And yet it’s still something I hadn’t personally seen before, and I don’t remember ever working a chevron pattern in granny stitches before! It’s always fun even after a decade in this hobby to find something new to try. It’s simple to work up once you get the technique down, and provides a lot of practice if granny stitch is something you need to work on. It can be a carefully coordinated and planned color-block project, or a stash-buster like mine where you find out what your next color is when you get there! And the finished item is warm and snuggly and will keep me cozy for years to come.
