Spring Nails: Mint Green and Confetti

March 28, 2020

Mint green Spring nail design with Color Street’s Oslo and Steady and Glitzburgh.

I am a Color Street stylist! This post contains my stylist links. If you make a purchase by clicking on them, I make a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for your support!

I have been saving Glitzburgh for my birthday (which was last Monday).

It’s a light gold base with blue, green and red glitter that reminds me of confetti. What more appropriate for a birthday celebration than confetti?

A couple days before my birthday, I received my Color Street order from the new Spring collection (some shown above). In it, I found a beautiful mint green solid colorway called Oslo and Steady.

I’s a refreshing light minty green – true to this image.

When on, your natural nail line shows through. It was subtle, and I didn’t mind, but if it bothers you, you can double layer, or apply an overlay like Less Bitter, More Glitter, or Between the Lines.

When held up with the Glitzburgh, I thought it complemented it well.

How about that gorgeous, gray textured background? I am working on a quilt inspired crocheted throw pillow (catch a peek HERE on Instagram). This pattern is called corner to corner (or C2C), and I just LOVE the look it produces!

See what I mean about the natural nail line showing through? It’s a little more noticeable in person, but still so subtle. I think the glitter design also helps it blend in better.

That glitter! Oohh, I am so in love with this combination!

I love nail strips! I also love the color/glitter combo you chose. I’ll have to check these out because with all of the nail salons closed, I’m desperately thinking of how I can keep my nails looking fab!

Thank you, Mica! I thought it was a fun combo. Hard to celebrate during these times, but I did my best. Looking forward to dinner out with my family when we can.

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden orΒ re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
