The EyeLoveKnots Weekly 1

July 12, 2021

This week’s crochet finds include how to crochet a mermaid can koozie, A Merry Crochet Christmas book, how to crochet a large jellyfish, how to crochet a C2C chevron blanket and how to crochet a lacy crochet top.

This post contains affiliate links for Annie’s Catalog and Etsy. If you make a purchase by clicking on them, I make a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for your support!

Are you part of my EyeLoveKnots Yarn & Crochet Community on Facebook? I share a lot of yarny goodness in there with an emphasis on crocheting, but I love all fiber types. I don’t get much interaction on there, and since I spent A LOT of time each week filling my queue for this group, two other groups, and two other pages with little benefit to me as I’m promoting a lot of other designers and bloggers, and there isn’t much interaction, I decided to share more here on EyeLoveKnots.

I am calling this new weekly series The EyeLoveKnots Weekly, and it will just be a round up post of fiber posts. I can’t say for sure, but I always try my best to make them seasonally appropriate. I will be aiming for Mondays. What better way to start the week than with a bunch of crochet inspiration?

I will continue to share sneak peeks and more in my group though so I invite you to join πŸ™‚ If you enjoy other fiber arts, other than crochet, drop me a line below to let me know what else you’d like to see, and I’ll try to incorporate more of it!

And if you prefer home and lifestyle finds, check out The Rockwood Lane Weekly 15.

Let’s Get To Those Crochet Finds!

Such a fun koozie from The Crafter Life! The mermaid tail is awesome! But I also really like that it straps right on your chair. Get the free crochet pattern for this Summer Vibes Mermaid Chair Koozie right here.

Now that July is here, it’s time for Christmas in July! Number one Best Seller on the Annie’s site is this book. Get the A Merry Crochet Christmas book in digital or physical form right here.

I’m honored and excited to have my Haylee Hand Towel up for possible Pattern of the Month on LoveCrafts. Please go vote for it right here by clicking the heart next to the pattern (you must be logged into your account for the vote to count). You can also view the free crochet pattern right here.

Jellyfish Squish - free crochet pattern on Moogly

What a cute, cuddly jelly fish from Moogly! I love the idea of using Bernat Blanket Yarn. I’ve been tempted to work up some of my projects in this soft, super chunky yarn. Get the free crochet pattern for this Jellyfish Squish right here.

Bellissa Tucked Hem Top Size S M L XL 2XL 3XL Crochet image 0

Found this pretty blouse on Etsy from Hooked On Patterns. I like the two stitches patterns combined together – I never would have thought to put them together. Get the paid crochet pattern for this Bellissa Tucked Hem Top via Etsy.

Free Crochet Blanket Pattern - Diagonal Chevron Lapghan by A Crocheted Simplicity #freecrochetpattern #freecrochetblanketpattern #crochetlapghanpattern #crochetblanketpattern #crochetrippleblanket #crochetchevronblanket #crochetchevron #c2ccrochet #cornertocornercrochet #crochetlapghan #crochetafghan

Wow! This blanket from A Crocheted Simplicity is so neat! It’s worked in a corner to corner manner, but in a fun chevron stitch pattern. Get the free crochet pattern for this Diagonal Chevron Lapghan right here.

And in case you missed it last week…

I shared a free tunisian crochet pattern for the Taryn Soap Cozy (or Small Gift Bag).

And Candace shared a crochet pattern review for “The Balm” Lip Balm Holder.

Granny Square Afghan

Granny Square Afghan

(Affiliate Link) I am so in love with the new Granny Square Afghan Kit Club from Annie's Kit Clubs! Granny squares have always held a special place in my heart, and I love the variety! In fact, there are over 90 unique granny squares in here! This club spans 12 months. Each month, you get a new set of instructions and yarn. There are also video tutorials to walk you through each step. Don't want to make an afghan? This is still a great kit to learn different granny stitch patterns, and the squares so versatile! Sew them together to make a scarf, tote bag, cardigan and so much more! Click this image to get more details and join this club!
