Ghost Crochet Patterns for Home Decor:

Ghost Pillow from CozyNorthWoods – $7.95
The pattern is designed in worsted weight yarn – Loops & Threads Impeccable. Lion Brand Pound of Love would be a great alternative – you could do 3 pillows with just 1 skein of the white! I think this would be especially cute to do one for each of your kids or grandkids with their favorite color for the scarf.

Halloween Flower Bouquet from EviestitchDesigns – $7.06
The weight of yarn is not specified in the description, but in reading some reviews, one person that they were using a DK weight #3 yarn, and would have to do less rows and stitches to make it work, so I’m guessing the pattern uses a Fingering Weight #1 yarn. Berroco Vintage Sock would be a great option for Fingering Weight Yarn.
The pattern does include several components including: Pumpkin branches, Ghost branches, a bat, Androsace flowers, Anemone flowers, small Sedge Leaf and Sage Leaf.

Halloween Dreams Blanket from MadeByAnitaCrochet – $6.95
You’ll need some DK weight yarn to make this blanket, that is a #3 weight yarn. Jody Long Ciao is a soft and squishy wool yarn that would be perfect for a cozy blanket! The 18 page pattern itself comes with picture tutorials to help you out along the way.

Little Ghost from CutevilleToys – $3.79
This ghost was made in Bernat Velvet Yarn, which is a #5 weight, chenille style yarn. Ella Rae Cuddle is a fantastic alternative that is stronger and doesn’t shed the same. If you wanted to use a fun glow in the dark yarn, Lion Brand Glow Chenille comes in white as well as a few more colors. They all glow the same color, but in regular light, you could have the white body and something like a purple for the hat. It is a Super Bulky #6 weight so the ghost may come out a little bigger, depending on your tension.

Ghost Kitty from 3amgracedesigns – $5.75
The yarn required for this adorable Ghost Kitty is not provided in the description. I have worked a couple of the designs from 3amgracedesigns before, and they suggested a worsted weight yarn so I would assume that is the same case here – Lion Brand Pound of Love would be a great option.

Betty Boo Plush from FoxieBoutiqueStudio – $16
This plush was made in Bernat Blanket Yarn, which is a #6 weight, chenille style yarn. Though a Chunky #5 weight, Ella Rae Cuddle would be a nice alternative – the plush just may come out a little smaller, depending on your tension.
This all-in-one pattern comes with instructions to make Betty Boo (Ghost), Witch Hat, Pumpkin Basket, Flower & Pumpkin Bag, and Cat.

No Sew Ghost Cat from Momsstitchetti – $3.95
This plush was made in Bernat Blanket Yarn, which is a #6 weight, chenille style yarn. Though a Chunky #5 weight, Ella Rae Cuddle would be a nice alternative – the plush just may come out a little smaller, depending on your tension.

Ghost Costume for Dog from crochetwithkyra – $1.50
This pattern is just for the ghost outfit to fit any of these 5 dog patterns from her shop: Gaia the German Shepherd, Bailey the Border Collie, Felix the French Bulldog, Baker the Bulldog, and Lacey the Labrador!
The yarn weight is not specified in the description, but in some of the dog patterns, I can see Premier Parfait Chunky in the background of the photos, which is a #6 weight, chenille style yarn. Though a Chunky #5 weight, Ella Rae Cuddle would be a nice alternative – the plush just may come out a little smaller, depending on your tension.

Wheat Stitch Ghost from BrianaKdesigns – $13
You’ll need some worsted weight yarn to make your wheat stitch ghost. She made one in Lion Brand DIY Glow, one in Herrschners Worsted 8 Yarn, and for the tweedy ghost, it’s not specified in the pattern, but knowing that Briana uses a lot of WeCrochet yarns in her designs, my guess is WeCrochet Brava. It does appear that tweed yarn ghost might be a little bit bigger – this is going to depend on your tension, but since gauge isn’t essential, sizing is flexible.
The instructions to make the pumpkin and hat are also included, and there are two finishing options if you want the bottom to be open to place over fairy lights, or closed.

Sprite the Ghost from TheKinderKnots – $4.92
This plush is designed in a #6 weight, chenille style yarn. Though a Chunky #5 weight, Ella Rae Cuddle would be a nice alternative – the plush just may come out a little smaller, depending on your tension.

Duck Ghost from TheArtistGoods – $1.88
These adorable ducks were designed in a Chunky #5 weight yarn. Ella Rae Cuddle is a fantastic alternative. Based on the title of the pattern, looks like you get the instructions for the Witch, Ghost and Pumpkin.

Floating Ghost Lamp from MagicArtCrochet – $17.99
The weight of yarn is not specified in the description. My guess is a DK weight #3 – Jody Long Ciao would be a great option for this weight – or worsted weight #4 – Lion Brand Pound of Love would be a great option for this weight.

The Boo Who Wall Hanging from LoveandStitchDesigns – $4.99
You’ll need some worsted weight yarn for this wall hanging. The yarn used in the design was not provided in the description, but I follow this designer on Instagram and I know she uses a lot of WeCrochet Brava, so it’s possible that may be what she used. Lion Brand Pound of Love, which is a 100% acrylic yarn, would be a great option for this project, or a 100% cotton yarn, like Queensland Coastal Cotton or Circulo Natural Maxcolor 4/6.

Ghost Hanging Ornament from Wlcheny – $4.13
The weight of yarn is not specified in the description. My guess is a DK weight #3 – Jody Long Ciao would be a great option for this weight – or worsted weight #4 – Lion Brand Pound of Love would be a great option for this weight.

Mini Ghost Cuddler from 3amgracedesigns – $5.75
The yarn required for these ghosts is not provided in the description. I have worked a couple of the designs from 3amgracedesigns before, and they suggested a worsted weight yarn so I would assume that is the same case here – Lion Brand Pound of Love would be a great option.

Ghost Cushion from AlpakkaDesigns – $2.83
This cushion was worked in Hobbii Blanket Yarn, which is a Jumbo weight #7 yarn, for the body and Paintbox Yarns Chenille Yarn, which is a Chunky weight #5 yarn, for the embellishments. Jumbo weights are harder to come by, but you could always use 3-4 strands held together of your favorite worsted weight yarn, or 2-3 strands of your favorite chunky weight yarn held together to equal the same thickness. Alternatively, you could use a Chunky Weight Yarn, like Ella Rae Cuddle, or a Super Chunky Weight Yarn, like Bernat Blanket Yarn, for a slightly smaller cushion.

Cute Ghost from MarizzaToys – $10.29
This plush was made in Himalaya Dolphin Baby, which is a #6 weight, chenille style yarn. Bernat Blanket Yarn is a fan favorite super bulky yarn for plushies. Though a Chunky #5 weight, Ella Rae Cuddle would also be a nice alternative – the plush just may come out a little smaller, depending on your tension.
In the photo, the smaller ghost appears to be worked in a non-chenille style yarn, and with it’s smaller nature, it leads me to believe it was worked following the same pattern in either a DK weight #3 – Jody Long Ciao would be a great option for this weight – or worsted weight #4 – Lion Brand Pound of Love would be a great option for this weight. Just goes to show how versatile these designs are when gauge is not an essential factor.

Low Sew Ghasper the Ghost from TheresasCrochetShop – $2.55
This ghost was designed in a Super Bulky Weight #6 yarn. Bernat Blanket Yarn is a fan favorite super bulky yarn for plushies, or if you wanted to use a fun glow in the dark yarn, Lion Brand Glow Chenille would be perfect! Though a Chunky #5 weight, Ella Rae Cuddle would also be a nice alternative – the plush just may come out a little smaller, depending on your tension. The little pumpkin is worked in worsted weight #4 yarn, and would be a great project for scraps.

Ghost on Swing Bundle from CrochetStudioUSArt – $22.38
This all-in-one pattern includes instructions for the Candy Corn, Candy Eye, Monster, Ghost, Pumpkin and Vampire plus the swing.
The weight of yarn for these is not included in the description. Looking at the photos, the yarn appears to be a chenille style. Ella Rae Cuddle is a really lovely chunky weight #5 yarn that come in a large range of colors.

Cute Ghost from KnotsMerryYarn – $5.45
The yarn weight is not specified in the description, but I follow this designer on Instagram and I know she likes to use Premier Parfait Chunky, which is a #6 weight, chenille style yarn, so it’s possible this might be what she used. Though a Chunky #5 weight, Ella Rae Cuddle would be a nice alternative – the plush just may come out a little smaller, depending on your tension.
