12 Delicious Apple Projects – Fall Round Up

August 30, 2018

I’ve said this a thousand times… I love going to link ups, and I go to like 20 a week (maybe more – check out my Linking Up To page). After I designed my C2C Apple Washcloths (even before publishing), I had an idea in my mind to pick out apple projects and recipes I found at link ups while I was partying, so over the last month, these are what I found. I will say, I am sure more apple stuff is going to be rolling in soon because most of these I found in the last week. At first, I was a little nervous I wouldn’t have a round up to share, but then I was like oh yeah! I was also hoping for more apple themed crafts, but there weren’t many. Lots of tempting recipes though! Enjoy πŸ™‚

Caramel Apple Pie from Cincy Shopper. This delicious apple pie features a fun, crumbly streusel topping. Mmm. Entire pie is made from scratch, but the ingredients list is pretty simple, and things you may already have in your cabinet if you holiday bake.

Back to School Cupcakes from Cookie Dough and Oven Mitts. How cute are these cupcakes?! The cookies and creme crunch looks so yummy. It reminds me of the chocolate version of the strawberry shortcake popsicle thing. Mmm. I pinned these. Can’t wait to give them a try. Would be great for teacher appreciation, or a teacher gift, or any occasion by simply changing out the embellishments.

All Natural Spiced Apple Simmering Potpourri from Confessions of a Plate Addict. Apple Cinnamon is one of my all time favorite smells, and flavors! It is my go-to candle, wax melt, spray, car freshener, cake, ice cream… Now, with this recipe, my whole house can smell like apple cinnamon any time of the year.

Cinnamon Apple Crumble Bread from Delightful E Made. Oh boy! This is on my list to make because cinnamon, pecans, fresh apples all in a delicious bread?! Yes, please! Reading forward, the brown sugar pecan topping sounds amazing – like the top part of a blueberry muffin. Can’t wait to get this one baked. Perfect for breakfast with a cup of coffee, dessert or a snack, and even gifting!

Simple Fall Decor Ideas from Clean & Scentsible. Jenn includes 6 tips and examples of Simple Fall Decor Ideas that can be implemented in 10-15 minutes, and work all around the house. I really thought the apple printable was super cute next to the apple basket, and for it, you can use real apples, fake apples or DIY some out of foam, sequins and pins or crochet/knit/sew some up. I have even seen some beaded ones!

Back to School Microwave Mug Cake from Dukes & Duchesses. Have you tried mug cakes before? The idea really intrigues me, but I have yet to try one. I am a fan of red velvet though, so perhaps I will just have to give this one a try! I really love the spiral technique on the frosting to create the apple, and guess what the leaf is made of! So clever… You will have to visit with Randi for the answer πŸ˜‰

Apple Pie Cupcakes from Cincy Shopper. This cupcake makes me want to go out, and get an apple filled donut right now – one of my favorites! Hidden inside is a delicious cinnamon apple pie filling, and topped with a brown sugar cinnamon frosting. OOHH MANN!

Apples and Eucalyptus Fall Printable from So Much Better with Age. This is a free printable from Jamie as part of a Fall Printable tour – how fun! All links are provided in this post to visit the other bloggers, and I guess it’s an annual thing, so keep your eyes peeled. Aside from that, I love the fresh mix of apples, pears, and the soft greenery throughout. So perfect for the modern, fall home. I can see this in a home that has an embroidery hoop wreath similar to the graphic.

Tiered Tray with Late Summer Decor from Dining Delight. Apples and sunflowers are exactly what I think of when I think of August and September – like a pre-fall thing. I love how Lori paired them together on this super cute wooden tier for a fresh look in the kitchen/dining room, and an easy transition piece from summer to fall. The copper mugs are also a perfect addition to this piece!

Caramel Apple Pudding Shots from Anns Entitled Life. These pudding shots look soooo good. I would love to make this into an apple dip. Perfect for a girls night (as a dip, or the individual pudding shots). Creamy, apple-y, refreshing. Mmm.

C2C Apple Washcloths from EyeLoveKnots – that’s me πŸ˜‰ Last year, I designed a fun pair of Cross Stitched Apple Earrings. I wanted to use the same basic design, and create a corner to corner (C2C) project. Came out perfectly! And this is available as a free crochet pattern.

Fall Harvest Coaster Set from A Crocheted Simplicity. Last project for today, another free crochet pattern, using one of my favorite crochet stitch patterns – granny stitch! Can easily work up some red, green or yellow apples, or pumpkins! And these is a really pretty holder to go with them. Would make a great gift too πŸ™‚

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden orΒ re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
