This is a free crochet pattern found here on the EyeLoveKnots blog, but I’m sharing different details in this post to explain how I created the cozies you see. Skip to the free crochet pattern instructions here, or purchase a printer-friendly, ad-free PDF on Ravelry by clicking here.
Back in April, I shared my original Through the Window Soap Cozy (or Small Gift Bag).
For Halloween, I always like to share a fitting candy pouch because I think they are absolutely perfect for Halloween parties or to hand out to trick or treaters.
They are also great to use for small gifts – I’ve used a similar bag to gift a pair of earrings. This is my Dip Dyed Soap Cozy (or Small Gift Bag) and Round Dip Dyed Earrings.
But worked in cotton, it’s also perfect as a soap cozy! Gift a special bar of soap, like this Binx Soap from SudsySoapWorksLLC, in the cozy.
This candy pouch is worked in a mosaic crochet pattern. It’s so fun! And while it may look difficult, it’s only single and double crochets and chains, so you got this! When you hope over to see the free crochet pattern (link in materials section), you’ll find a photo to show stitch placement in the pattern notes section.

These little candy pouches turned out so cute. They would be so cute for party favors, or lots of other things. I’m amazed at how fast you can make one.
