The Annie’s Signature Designs 2022 Spring Crochet Designs has 22 beautiful spring-inspired (and a touch Summery) fashion garments, and home decor pieces. Here I’m sharing my top 5 favorites of crochet patterns.

Leave me a comment letting me know what your top 5 is!

If you want to see more awesome Annie’s Signature Designs, check out my 2019 wishlist, and gallery of Annie’s Signature Designs projects.

This is the Country Grace Pullover designed by Tammy Hildebrand.

This is my version of it. I purchased this pattern a couple weeks ago, and have been working on my own top using Lion Brand Coboo Yarn out of my stash. It’s a great warm weather yarn – soft, and lightweight. Berroco Modern Cotton DK is a great alternative to this yarn. Check out my Crochet Pattern Review right here to EyeLoveKnots! Design available in sizes Extra Small through Extra Large.

This is the Mini Mandala Shoulder Bag designed by Lena Skvagerson. This is such a cute little purse. I really like the mix of textures and colors. I’m curious about this worked in #10 Curio crochet thread (or Aunt Lydia’s), and used as a coin purse.

Abby from A Stitch Shy of Normal had the same idea too! She just shared a crochet pattern review for this shoulder bag. So neat to see her pink and purple version! I always struggle choosing my colors.

This is the Week-end Getaway Crochet Bag designed by Lisa Gentry. Between the mandala pattern and the beautiful colorways of this yarn, I am getting all kinds of Summer beach vibes, and loving it! This colorway is of a chunky weight yarn. I’ve been having trouble finding one I really like, but I think two strands of Red Heart Super Saver held together would work great. Even just one strand and respective hook would also work for a slightly smaller bag.

This is the Fat Cat designed by Trish Hoskin of Fat Lady Crochet. The eyes on this cat are just the sweetest! Great project for stashbusting, a variegated yarn or even a solid. At 16″ tall, it makes for a great throw pillow, but because the size isn’t essential, you can use any yarn that you have in your stash with respective hook!

This is the Palmeras Place Mats designed by Lena Skvagerson. These place mats are just gorgeous! And would be a great doily, or wall art piece if strung up to a hoop. I’ve really been wanting to try WeCrochet CotLin, and I think this would be a great project for it.

Thanks, Jess! I had a lot of fun working up the top. Haven’t worn it out yet, but can’t wait for the opportunity to!

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden or re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
