Yarn Fanatic Linky Party #51 (With Features from #49)

September 21, 2015

Welcome to the 51st Yarn Fanatic Link Party, and my 34th as co-host, alongside Rachel from The Philosopher’s Wife.

I apologize lots for missing the posting of last week’s party – The Yarn Fanatic Party #50, but…::sighs::…You know how it goes.

I took a much needed mini vacation this past weekend down to visit my boyfriend, Chad’s, dad’s side of the family for Chad’s brother, Lucas’, birthday.
The trip came out to be too short (as usual), and the drive back up posed issues but overall it was a great trip. I will be sharing some photos next Wednesday – since leaving my computer down South was one of those issues!

Since our last party I’ve shared:

The Cuatro Esquinas de Abuela Afghan Square.
This is a free crochet pattern for a 6″ square,
and was designed as part of the Mystery Lapghan CAL 2015.
There is still PLENTY of time to join the party!
And a Little Girls Purse. This post is a crochet pattern review of a FREE pattern designed by Cream of the Crop Crochet.

I LOVE working up crochet (and jewelry) projects and creating/sharing reviews – if you have any patterns/tutorials that you would like tested and/or reviewed, feel free to shoot me an email!

Most Clicked (from the YFP#49):

Fantasy Pillow from My World of Crochet – Crochet Inspiration. I LOVE this idea! I actually have an afghan square similar to this in the works.

EyeLoveKnots Yarn Favorites (from the YFP#49):

From Right to Left, Top to Bottom:
Rainbow Sweater from Hakel Fieber – Crochet Inspiration. Sandra makes working up a sweater look sooooo easy! I am going to have to give it a try using a fun pattern too!
Jar Cover from Anna Simple Crochet – Crochet Inspiration. This is such a beautiful jar topper. What a great idea for gift giving!
Baby Alpaca Dream [Shawl] from Van Dani – Link to Crochet Pattern Included. This is a stunning piece – as many of the pieces shared from Van Dani are! I will agree in that I think this piece would look great on a bride, or to be used for any other special occasion. I am jealous of this little yarn shop in her town – I wish there was one like that in my town! Do you have one in yours?

Striped and Stolen [Bag] from Kat Kat Katoen – Free Crochet Pattern Included. Sigrid created such a cute little messenger bag! I can see why her daughter fell in love with it!!
A Japanese Flower Scarf from Colour Crochet Love – Crochet Inspiration. This scarf is going to be such a gorgeous piece (though it can be argued it already is, I am thinking once complete it will be more). I love all of the fun, bright colors paired with the loopy floral pieces. They look like they would make great coasters and/or mandalas if worked up separately.

I appreciate you coming to party with us 🙂 The support is greatly appreciated! I have been very lucky to have been able to co-host this party with Rachel of The Philosopher's Wife because I have found many new blogs to follow and made many friends along the way. With so much out on the internet today, sometimes beautiful items like yours get a little lost so I am glad you came to party with us so I could discover it! Keep up the gorgeous work, and wishing you and your shop all the best!

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden or re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
