15 Free Home Decor Crochet Patterns for Cotton Blends

August 25, 2024

Here is a collection of 15 free home decor crochet patterns that use cotton blend yarns, like washcloths, blankets, wall hangings and more!

This post contains affiliate links for Lion Brand, Amazon and WeCrochet. If you make a purchase by clicking on them, I make a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for your support!

In a hurry? Pin this for later when you have more time.

As you know, I recently started a yarn shop of my own, Yarn Crafts and Coffee – both online, and in person in Melbourne, Florida inside America’s Antique Mall. I’ve been working my way through my yarn stash to only have the yarns that I will be selling in my shop, and destashing the rest. Some I’ve pulled for giveaways here on the blog, and some have been put into mystery bags in the shop at the mall.

Emma’s Yarn Comfy Cotton DK is such a lovely, hand dyed yarn (right in Winter Haven, Florida) comprised of 50% Superwash Merino Wool and 50% Cotton, which is a fiber combination you don’t come across often so I thought it would be fun to put together a collection of free crochet patterns that use cotton blends, and do a giveaway (at the bottom of this post) for 9 yarn cakes from my stash.

I did use this yarn in a couple designs, and it’s quite nice to work with. It’s lightweight, soft and has a plushiness to it, and even though it contains wool, it doesn’t feel itchy against the skin.

Onto the Giveaway!

One winner will receive a package of Emma’s Yarn Comfy Cotton DK Yarn! This yarn is comprised of 50% Superwash Merino Wool and 50% Cotton.

The giveaway includes 9 yarn cakes in total. All of these have been wound into cakes from the original hank, and I’ve used a teeny bit of some in projects. A full cake has 232 yards so you’ll be able to use that as reference for the following yarns included:

  • 1 – full cake of the Driftwood colorway
  • 1 – full cake of the Volume colorway
  • 1 – 218 yards of the Freshly Cut colorway
  • 1 – 134 yards of the Don’t Call Me Peaches colorway
  • 1 – 100 yards of the Whisper colorway
  • 1 – 170 yards of the Very Berry colorway (has a small sample attached that can be frogged)
  • 3 of the Set Sail colorway – 2 full cakes, and 1 full skein in sample form that can be frogged

I am running this giveaway together with Cre8tion Crochet – there will be only 1 winner between the two blogs.

Special Note: I have two cats. You may find cat hairs on the yarn you receive – it’s just in the air.

International Makers: I always like to include everyone! If you are outside the US, you can still enter to win, but you will receive a digital Etsy gift card instead of yarn.

I included several ways to enter (through the Rafflecopter below). To be entered in the giveaway, you only need to complete one task, but the more you do, the better your chances. Some of them you can come back and do again once a day! Last time to enter will be Sunday 09/08/24 at 11:59pm EST.

*The Rafflecopter works. I receive a lot of messages each time I run a giveaway stating it’s not working. If you can’t see it, please check your browser in case you have any apps/settings that may prevent it from showing, or try clearing your cache. Entering via the Rafflecopter is the only way to gain entries.
