The Waffle Washcloth pattern by Spotted Horse Design Co. worked beautifully for my needs. It used less than a full skein, even though I made mine slightly larger than the pattern. It was incredibly easy to stitch up and even easy to memorize so I could zone out with a Youtube video in the background and whip out a cloth without much thought!

Dafne Granny Stripe Bag – Crochet Pattern Review
I’m a sucker for a good bag. Open and meshy, dense and sturdy, one color or a rainbow-full, doesn’t matter to me. I love them all. They can hold anything from a phone and keys up to a craft market full of goodies! I love them in all shapes and sizes so, it’s no wonder that the Dafne Granny Stripe bag caught my eye when I was scrolling Ravelry, and then it jumped out from my favorites list when I looked for my next project for this summer. I found this pattern a lot of fun to work up. It’s a repetitive stitch but with this gorgeous yarn it has a wonderful crisp definition and it’s a spin on the basic stitch. You can make it in an endless combination of colors (one of my favorite things about a pattern), and it uses simple stitches in super creative ways. I truly recommend checking it out, if you want a fashionable and practical bag that you certainly can’t find on the shelves in a store!

After I had my son last fall, I’ve found that my flexibility is nothing like it used to be before him. And that wasn’t even that great, I’ve never been the most athletic person. I try to take care of my body but I’m not very consistent about exercising. I go through phases of being decent about it but then I get busy at work and fitness just slips into the background. But our workplace now offers free fitness classes during the day, and I have time to sneak in a class once or twice a week. One of them that I’m really enjoying has been yoga!
