As part of the Fun and Fruity Crafting Event hosted by Yarn Crafts and Coffee, I worked up some of the fruit-themed turtle shells, and I love how cute this pattern has worked up! The turtle on its own is a nice size that makes a perfect toy, and the interchangeable shells are absolutely adorable. I can’t wait to make the rest of the shell patterns and try out the whole collection!

Boom the Firecracker – Crochet Pattern Review
The Boom the Firecracker pattern is a super easy, quick make that is perfect for your patriotic decor, summer parties, and crochet markets. You can almost make two of these in under an hour, and they are super bright and happy. The realistic nature of the design, mixed with the plushness of the yarn, makes them versatile, so they can be used as decor or a stuffed toy. I definitely recommend trying out this pattern to help celebrate America’s 250th birthday!
Marjorie Goose – Crochet Pattern Review
Like all of the patterns by Jocelyn of Oak and Marlow, the Marjorie Goose pattern does not disappoint! It is well-written with clear directions, easy-to-follow photo explanations and video tutorials, and customization options. You can dress up the goose with the included bonnet pattern that can be made two different ways or the included bow pattern.
Santa Turtle – Crochet Pattern Review
While checking out some cute crochet Christmas patterns, I fell in love with the Santa Turtle by Happy Turtle Crochet. After making the Sunflower Turtle pattern, I was already familiar with the designer and knew it would be a well-written pattern. This cutie worked up so quickly and is incredibly adorable! My friends and family all agree that everyone needs a Santa Turtle in their lives this holiday season!
