This hat is a very fun and simple pattern. If you’re looking for a cute Easter or spring gift for a little one in your life, this is a wonderful choice. The hat I made fits my son great, looks super adorable, and fit him for several weeks which makes it one of the most cost-effective things he owns as a baby. They grow out of things far too quickly, don’t they?

Through the Window Beanie – Free Crochet Pattern in 7 Sizes

There are 7 sizes included, so you can make one for each member of the family, and while my favorite way to work this technique is with a variegated color underneath, and a solid coordinating color on top, it also looks great with both solid colors, and even looks neat all in one color – think white on white texture.
