When I began this project I was not actually a member BUT (spoilers), I have since signed up because this was super fun. I was sent this kit from a friend who just didn’t plan to do this one themselves and wanted to see if I was interested in trying it out and reviewing it. I decided to use this as a test of sorts, to see if I would consider this a worthwhile kit if I had paid the monthly fee. If I liked it, I planned to sign up for real. And I just did! Come check out my review in more detail.

The Lapli Basket pattern is the perfect organizational piece to review and add to my shop for January. Like all the patterns by DeBrosse, it is very modern and has a classic, clean look. I love that it not only is a great piece to add to your decor, but it is also a useful piece that you can utilize in almost any room of your house. It would be great for displaying small plants in a living room, holding essentials near an entryway, storing personal items in a bathroom, or toy storage in a kid’s bedroom or playroom.
Winter usually means snow and at my house, snow equals snowman. So it was a natural choice for December to make one that will last all year long! I chose this little guy because I just thought the top hat was too cute! So many patterns have snowpeople wearing beanies topped with a pouf. While they are adorable, this top hat really caught my eye so I had to make it!
I was scrolling through Ravelry when a gorgeous colorful sweater caught my eye. I clicked on the thumbnail and discovered that it was not only beautiful, it had a message written on the chest: “You can cope”. Even better than that, this message is written upside down, meaning it’s intended for the wearer to read rather than others. I knew it was the perfect project to make, and I think that was the fastest I ever clicked a purchase link! I hope this review spreads the awareness of this pattern, and others can find this pattern at a suitable time in their lives just like I did.
If you are looking for a last-minute gift idea for the upcoming holidays or just want to make an adorable gift for a dinosaur lover in your life, the Tinysaurus pattern is for you. It can be made in just a few hours and will make for a truly treasured keepsake. I can’t wait to also try out the larger Bohasaurus pattern as well!
I have wanted to make a crochet turkey for a couple years now and to have finally done it feels great because this bird is absolutely delightful and I love him! He sits nicely on his little feet too, which is great for displaying. Whip up this perfect poultry just in time for the holiday; I bet you’ll love him too!
this pattern is so simple and fun! The actual stitching is very easy, the design is mostly in the shaping. The silhouette of this cardigan is genius, it’s so flattering and yet casual and comfortable.
If you have a kiddo in your life that is just about to lose some teeth, this is a fantastic gift to make them! Not only is this project super easy and quick, but it can easily be embellished to match their personality. The possibilities for personalizing these cute little pillows are endless!

The techniques were easy to understand, and the tips were helpful when I remembered to do them. It took a while but each row itself went pretty quickly. The color layout was genius and gives a very impactful piece. The fringe is a genius addition, I wouldn’t have thought to add that myself but it really adds that final punch to the overall look. I think this ended up being a great reintroduction to tapestry crochet and it actually left me wanting to do more! I think artsy wall hangings done in tapestry crochet are going to be very on-trend throughout this coming fall and winter, and I look forward to trying as many of them as I can!
