The Waffle Washcloth pattern by Spotted Horse Design Co. worked beautifully for my needs. It used less than a full skein, even though I made mine slightly larger than the pattern. It was incredibly easy to stitch up and even easy to memorize so I could zone out with a Youtube video in the background and whip out a cloth without much thought!

Midnight Waffle Cardigan – Crochet Pattern Review
I’ve had my eye on this cardigan from For the Frills for a little while. I loved the look of the stitch texture, although I assumed it was standard waffle stitch (more on that later) so I thought it would be pretty heavy and would take a while to stitch up… I took a look at my Ravelry favorites page factoring in the yardage I had, and I was excited to see this sweater pattern should work with what I had!

I came across this adorable snow globe pattern and instantly I knew I had to make it! It is so cute, and it can be used for a variety of things: an ornament, an applique, a decoration on a gift or you can make several to have coasters or string them up as garland.
Rowyn Tote Bag – Crochet Pattern Review
So I set a plan in my head to make a nice tote bag for the two of us specifically to use for the library. That way I can put our books in there when we’re done reading them and they’ll (hopefully) be easier to find when we’re ready to go back for the next round. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and it’s been helpful so far! This is the pattern I chose because it was the perfect combination of practical and adorable, my favorite sort of thing.
English Crochet Ear Warmer – Crochet Pattern Review
What else does winter call for? Cold weather accessories: hats, gloves, scarves, etc. My daughter doesn’t particularly enjoy having to wear a hat when it is chilly outside but that doesn’t stop her from complaining about the temperature. Ear warmers are the perfect compromise. She keeps her ears warm without having to wear a full hat.

Granny Pop Cardigan – Crochet Pattern Review
I was very satisfied with this pattern. Granny stitch can be nice for garment patterns since you get into a rhythm and you can just keep stitching away! This is written as a top-down sweater where you make a yoke and work until your desired size, which makes it feel like it goes fast too. You then work straight rows for a while to get length, and boom! You have a cardigan.
