The Boom the Firecracker pattern is a super easy, quick make that is perfect for your patriotic decor, summer parties, and crochet markets. You can almost make two of these in under an hour, and they are super bright and happy. The realistic nature of the design, mixed with the plushness of the yarn, makes them versatile, so they can be used as decor or a stuffed toy. I definitely recommend trying out this pattern to help celebrate America’s 250th birthday!

No-Sew Pencil – Crochet Pattern Review
Even though I’ve been teaching for 12 years, it’s still hard to pass up a cute teacher-themed item when I see one! When I saw the adorable No-Sew Pencil pattern by Emily of Knots Merry Yarn, I knew I had to get it and make it! As a bonus, Emily is another teacher, so it was awesome to support a fellow teacher when purchasing this pattern from her!

My friends and family all agree that everyone needs a Santa Turtle in their lives this holiday season!
Mini Kitty – Crochet Pattern Review
The Mini Kitty pattern by Crafty Kat is a super easy, super quick, no-sew pattern! I love how you can easily make tons of different kitties just by changing up the color of your yarn. While you can add color changes to this pattern, they still look fantastic all in one color, which makes them super easy for market prep! While such a simple pattern, they have so much personality. I’m already working on making a ton more for my upcoming craft shows!

No-Sew Axolotl – Crochet Pattern Review
When I found Stitch by Fay’s No-Sew Axolotl pattern, I knew immediately that it would be perfect! Not only does it use exactly the right colors of yarn, but it is super adorable! I had the wonderful opportunity to see a real-life axolotl that was a classroom pet at the school I used to teach at, and I have to say that this pattern looks pretty realistic too! I’m super impressed by how easily the pattern works up, and I can’t wait to make these little cuties on repeat for my upcoming markets!
Duckzilla – Crochet Pattern Review
While the Duckzilla pattern takes some time to work up because it’s so big, it was 100% worth it! My niece is absolutely in love with this giant duck! In addition to being an adorable addition to her room, she is able to use it as a bean bag-style chair! She’s a pretty tall 12-year-old and has plenty of room to relax and crochet while leaning on the duck. If you know someone that loves ducks, or if you just want to make a giant duck for fun, I definitely recommend this pattern!
