Sofia Cowl – Crochet Pattern Review – Red Heart

February 11, 2017

I have been working on a child size hat that has taken quite more calculation and reworking than I anticipated, and a hooded scarf that had to be taken completely apart because I made the rooky mistake of twisting my beginning chain. I was in need of a quick, easy and beautiful project to work… Read more

Beach Front Slanted Shell Infinity Scarf – Free Crochet Pattern

January 30, 2016

I was digging around in my stash and found practically full skeins of these Turquoise and Graphite colorways and thought they’d make a great pair together, but I wanted to do something different and I think this combination is pretty unique. The scarf was broken up into thirds and then worked in pattern and I… Read more

This is my second week being a part of the Yarn Fanatic Linky Party, next to Rachel of the Philosopher’s Wife.  I had an idea of what needed to be done as far as promoting goes, but I didn’t realize how challenging it would be to find yarn specific projects. This just goes to show… Read more

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden or re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
