I briefly considered whether it might be possible for a sweater to be too bright, and then I realized I didn’t care about the answer and put this yarn into my cart. The result was so totally worth it. This pattern was fun, it’s well-written and easy to understand, and it looks so cool!

This pattern was very easy to follow. Don’t let the pattern scare you at all because it’s worked in just simple chains, single crochets and treble crochets. If you can work a double crochet, a treble crochet is just one extra yarn over in the beginning, and one extra yarn over and pull through in the end. It also mentions blocking, but it’s not necessary. I did not block my top, and the fit and stitch pattern is still great. All these things make this a great project for a confident beginner.
This is a free crochet pattern for how-to crochet a lightweight, lacy scarf using the easy v-stitch crochet pattern. While the pattern is designed with three separate colors, cake yarns like Mandala also work beautifully.

I love the lacy look of the V-Stitch. This scarf has been coming for some time, just took a little inspiration by this variegated yarn I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I got it a few months ago, and it was the last one – too bad because I LOVE IT! This scarf was… Read more
At the same time of purchasing the Kitty yarn I used in the Crochet Granny Square Baby Blanket and Hat Set, I also purchased this chunky yarn in Spring.
