The Mabel Chicken pattern is fun, fast and as cute as they come! This is one of my top favorite patterns. I love how quickly and easily it works up and using bulky yarn leaves you with a snuggly little chicken!

Ulla Top – Crochet Pattern Review
This top can be dressed up or down, and would be perfect for any occasion. It’s warm and comfy, and more lightweight than it might look. This pattern is so simple and yet very rewarding. You get into a rhythm working up the rows, and then before you know it you’re finished! It was a joy from start to finish and I recommend it for yourself or as a nice gift.
Pistachio Poncho – Crochet Pattern Review
This pattern was very easy to follow. The cowl and the body are both in a simple repetitive pattern comprised of easy half double crochets, chains and double crochets, and worked from top down, it makes it very easy to try on as you go to make sure it fits just the way you like. I had trouble meeting gauge, and was able to adjust how I needed to make it fit, but if gauge is met, there is no doubt in my mind that this project wouldn’t be great for a confident beginner.

Sofia Cowl – Crochet Pattern Review – Red Heart

I was in need of a quick, easy and beautiful project to work… Read more

The Sherwood Forest Beret – Free Crochet Pattern
I did not intend on making a beret at first. Originally, I set out to make a chunky slouch hat but I ended up working it up too wide. After I finished the whole thing, I was playing with the fit and discovered that it made a great beret – I just wish I would… Read more
Crochet Mini Blanket 18″ x 18″ – Pink & Blue Twin Set – FREE Pattern
The day after writing up the draft for the 10″ x 10″ Mini Blanket (back in May – yikes!), I drafted the following post on a 18″ x 18″ Mini Blanket. After completing my 10″ x 10″ Mini Blanket, I took a trip back to Joann‘s to get some more chunky yarn and start on… Read more
