Flexagon Amigurumi – Crochet Fidget Toy Pattern Review

November 1, 2022

I absolutely love everything about this Flexagon Amigurumi – it works up really quickly, it uses very few materials, and it makes a wonderful gift for kids and adults! As a math teacher, I also really love that it features little pyramids, because it makes for a great lesson in my classroom and a fun reward for my students!

Atticus Rat Doll – Crochet Pattern Review

September 7, 2022

The Atticus Rat Doll is hands down the most detailed amigurumi I have ever made. The designer, Cottontail & Whiskers, provided an extremely detailed description of each step along the way with over seventy photos showing important steps in the process. The pattern also includes a bonus pattern for a cockroach pal named Splat. This pattern is definitely worth every penny, and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a pattern for a cute and detailed rat stuffed doll.

Summer of 77 Rainbow Pillow – Crochet Pattern Review

June 8, 2022

I love the creativity of this pattern. A rainbow can be a fairly simple shape, but this one manages to have a cute retro look to it no matter what colors you end up using! And the bobbles add beautiful texture to what could easily become a boring stitch pattern otherwise.

Berry Beautiful Pumpkin – Crochet Pattern Review

Join-As-You-Go Granny Squares the EyeLoveKnots Way – Photo Tutorial

November 26, 2016

I am currently working on a project that uses this technique – a great technique I have used in the past that pretty much forces you to weave in your ends as you go, and avoids having a bunch of granny squares sitting around that you will have to sew together later. For this tutorial,… Read more

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots and On Rockwood Lane! My passion is being creative. My favorite thing to do is crochet, and you will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I'm not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, picking veggies in the garden or re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures (minus the being outside because they think it's too hot in Florida to be anywhere but inside), and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
