The Knotty Li’l Dill is a versatile pattern that can be used to make a cute little pickle. The pattern not only comes with printable materials for gifting and selling, but it also includes several different methods for finishing the pattern. You can make a regular pickle, a cucumber, or a pickle/cucumber with arms to hold a cute little sign. There are also directions to make a cute face on your pickle if you opt to make a pickle pal rather than just a plain pickle.

Bobble Pop Fidget Toy – Crochet Pattern Review
Fidget toys are nothing new. But when I came across this, I was drawn to it for a couple specific reasons: when the bobbles “pop” it is quiet. I know that the satisfying popping sound can be part of the allure to the traditional toys. But when the kids (or grown-ups, if we are being honest) need something to tinker with but sound isn’t appropriate, this is an excellent alternative. I also like that it has a different texture than smooth silicone. It’s still soft yet coarse; great for those with sensory-seeking needs.
Ivy Stitch Plant Hanger – Crochet Pattern Review
This was a very simple and quick pattern, so there isn’t too much to say. The directions are pretty straight forward in terms of the structure. The most difficult part is also the most striking part of the stitch texture. The “ivy stitch” is where this pattern gets its name, and it’s a really cool look! This technique involves working what are essentially spike stitches into a sort of semi-circle shape, working into different previous rows to get the desired look.

Pebbled Texture Crochet Hat – Crochet Pattern Review – Yarnspirations
This hat has been my favorite free beanie pattern since I first learned how to crochet nearly 4 years ago. As soon as I was able to make standard double crochet hats, I found myself drawn to this pattern when I first stumbled upon it.
The front and back post double crochets intimidated me at first, but following along with Mikey from the Crochet Crowd on his YouTube tutorial helped so much (linked for you!). I still have yet to find something that works up as quick and unique. Come check out my full crochet pattern review!
