This is a very simple pattern based on a very popular stitch. And yet it’s still something I hadn’t personally seen before, and I don’t remember ever working a chevron pattern in granny stitches before! It’s always fun even after a decade in this hobby to find something new to try. It’s simple to work up once you get the technique down, and provides a lot of practice if granny stitch is something you need to work on. It can be a carefully coordinated and planned color-block project, or a stash-buster like mine where you find out what your next color is when you get there! And the finished item is warm and snuggly and will keep me cozy for years to come.

Bunny Bonnet – Crochet Pattern Review
This hat is a very fun and simple pattern. If you’re looking for a cute Easter or spring gift for a little one in your life, this is a wonderful choice. The hat I made fits my son great, looks super adorable, and fit him for several weeks which makes it one of the most cost-effective things he owns as a baby. They grow out of things far too quickly, don’t they?
Cheeseburger Bag – Crochet Pattern Review
This pattern has been one of my absolute favorite makes in the past year or so. I had fun making it, I truly enjoyed each step, and I love the look of the finished result.
Pride Summer Sweater – Crochet Pattern Review
This is a very simple pattern to follow and to stitch up. There’s not any complicated shaping or fancy textures on this, the designer lets the simple stitch provide a gorgeous comfy fit and gives the yarn the chance to show off. This top is also very comfortable, and this stitch has a fun sensory texture that I enjoyed running my fingers across while wearing the top (that’s not too weird to do at your desk at work, right?) I wholeheartedly recommend this pattern.
Worry Monster – Crochet Pattern Review
I really strongly recommend this pattern and I hope you try it out yourself! It’s simple enough for relative beginners, if you’re willing to try a few times to get sections like the teeth or the toes correct. These can be as simple or as complex as you like, it’s up to your imagination! Give them as gifts, bring them to craft fairs, or just make one for your desk in your favorite colors. I’m so happy I tried it and I want everyone to have one.
Bobble Stitch Hot Pad – Crochet Pattern Review
I really enjoyed this pattern. It’s nice to find a free pattern for something small and quick, and end up with a highly useful (and cute!) item in the end. I love how my color-blocking came out, and I definitely recommend this pattern if you’re wanting to use up some stash cotton or even buy something new.
Corner to Corner Cocoon – Crochet Pattern Review
I found this pattern a complete joy to make. The colors kept things interesting, the stitching is simple once you get the technique down, and the construction is lovely! It’s comfy and big and warm and the striped colors will definitely draw attention.

EZ Breezy Summer Hoody – Crochet Pattern Review
This hoodie is a very nice spring and summer piece. The concept of a short-sleeved hooded layer can come off a little weird if it’s not done well, but the silhouette of this one pulls it off perfectly. It looks casual and chic and comfortable, and I knew I had to have one. This piece has a very simple construction and I appreciate that. This construction lets you make it to fit your own size and shape, and allows for customization in both length and width so it will fit just the way you want depending on your personal style!
Half & Half Crochet Cardigan – Crochet Pattern Review
I was incredibly happy with the process and my results in this finished cardigan. It’s eye-catching, fun, and comfy! The pattern was simple to understand and even the sewing wasn’t hard. It just takes time to put all the squares together, but at the end, you’ll have a gorgeous cardigan to show off to the world!
