So you can turn off your brain and just stitch along to a movie. The finished shawl is gorgeous and will make a wonderful conversation-starter accessory for spring evenings when heavy coats aren’t needed anymore.

Cliffcrest Cable Collar – Crochet Pattern Review – Yarnspirations

When I saw this gorgeous little cable collar on Ravelry, meant to go under your coat and basically add a warm turtleneck “sweater” (top half) layer without adding the thick bulk of the full thing, I was intrigued. Most of my wardrobe is basic V-neck tees from Target, and I’d love something to cover my chest below my coat! This pattern is the perfect combination. It’s gorgeous, it’s interesting and stitches up relatively quickly, and it’s incredibly warm and comfortable!

Pebbled Texture Crochet Hat – Crochet Pattern Review – Yarnspirations

This hat has been my favorite free beanie pattern since I first learned how to crochet nearly 4 years ago. As soon as I was able to make standard double crochet hats, I found myself drawn to this pattern when I first stumbled upon it.
