This was a very simple and quick pattern, so there isn’t too much to say. The directions are pretty straight forward in terms of the structure. The most difficult part is also the most striking part of the stitch texture. The “ivy stitch” is where this pattern gets its name, and it’s a really cool look! This technique involves working what are essentially spike stitches into a sort of semi-circle shape, working into different previous rows to get the desired look.

If you are looking for a relatively quick and easy amigurumi to try out, this pattern is a great one to try! The directions are short and straight to the point. Cozy Plant Hanger – Crochet Pattern Review
Such a versatile piece, and works up in about 30 minutes! Can be for plants and same objects too, like keys. It’s super cute anywhere it’s hung.
Tablet Wedge – Crochet Pattern Review
I love the creativity in this pattern. It looks interesting, and in a cute color it can easily blend into your decor. Or if it’s a gift for a kid, it would look fun in a brightly colored shade to stand out! I appreciated the thorough instructions in both the stitching and the assembly, and I’m very happy with my finished result.
The Topaz Tee – Crochet Pattern Review
This is a very simple pattern, in terms of stitching. Once you get the hang of the mesh stitch, it’s smooth and just flies off the hook! The genius of this pattern is in the actual layout. She does a really cool technique in shaping the shoulders, rather than simply decreasing for the neckline and leaving the sides boxy (which is also a look that I love and do in many of my own designs).

If you love keeping your lip balm handy, need a last-minute gift, or are in major market prep, I highly recommend this pattern for a handy lip balm holder! It is really easy to follow, and it comes with the most adorable printable inserts to make it look really classy.
Tea Rose Spa Set – Crochet Pattern Review
With the warm summer months upon us, crocheted items become somewhat limited as far as what is functional. It is highly unlikely you’ll see anyone sporting a beanie and scarf in the 80+ degree weather, so when I found this dainty spa set, I thought it was the perfect creation for the season.
Dip-Dyed Cosmetic Bag or Hook Pouch – Crochet Pattern Review
This pattern is very simple and I really enjoyed it! The back-loop stitches add some interest without losing the sturdiness of single crochet. Simple color-blocking adds even more visual pop. My mind is full of all the potential for this pattern, especially given how quickly it works up. You could make one the night before going on a trip, if you realize you don’t have a bag for your makeup essentials. Or can you imagine how cute this would be as a gift for a friend?
Rad Rayon Baby Donegal – Pattern Review – Cre8tion Crochet

Crossbody Canteen Bag – Crochet Pattern Review
I really enjoyed all the small touches on this pattern. This is definitely a bag that no one else on the street is going to have! I can’t stop singing the praises of this pattern. It was fun, it was simple to understand, and it gave me a sturdy and adorable bag that I will be proudly carrying around all summer!
