Long Stocking Cap – Crochet Pattern Review

October 25, 2022

The long stocking cap pattern was very easy and an excellent beginner pattern. The designer included several helpful hints such as links to videos that explain different stitches and techniques, tips from her own experience, a hat size chart and it includes the option (and pattern) to create elf ears on your hat! I am really pleased with this hat and the ease of the pattern.

Twister Poncho – Crochet Pattern Review

October 19, 2022

This poncho just sang to me from the moment I spotted it. It’s cabled, looks (and is) super cozy, and it just radiates Fall vibes. The pattern is not as scary as it looks either. It’s based on a 6 row repeat throughout, and a great practice project to get comfort with cables as long as you’re comfortable with post stitching.

Chloe Tabard Top – Crochet Pattern Review

October 12, 2022

This design has a lot of options, and I really appreciate it! You can make it long, short, slim or loose. You can add one large tie, a few small ties, or none at all. You can seam the sides up just a tiny bit or halfway or none! You could try this in lighter or thicker yarns if you’re comfortable making up your own sizing.

Yarn Ball Stress Reliever – Crochet Pattern Review

October 5, 2022

Whether you are looking for a project just for you or for a yarn-loving friend, I highly recommend you try out this crochet pattern from Blackstone Designs! They are so quick and easy that you can make a bunch in no time, and you have the perfect gift for any knitter or crocheter you know. The possibilities with this pattern are endless, so you definitely want to put them on your project list!

Seat Belt Pad Pattern – Crochet Pattern Review

September 28, 2022

At first, I thought a seat belt cover was unnecessary, but once I used this just one time, I wondered why I didn’t do it sooner. This was incredibly simple to make, and works up super fast. Great project for beginner or advanced alike.

Octavia Scarf – Crochet Pattern Review

September 21, 2022

I sincerely enjoyed stitching up this pattern. It’s simple stitches with a little bit of interest, and it looks just as gorgeous in bright colors as it does in simple neutrals. I definitely recommend checking this pattern out if you’re wanting to make some simple scarves for gifts or donations this year, or needing to add to your winter accessories wardrobe.

Millennial Jumper – Crochet Pattern Review

September 13, 2022

I love this pattern! I love the fit, I love how it drapes, I love that the sleeves, and the bottom are kind of gathered/ruched in by the ribbing. It’s flattering, it’s comfy and warm, and the simple but interesting texture is just so perfect. I’m raving, I know I am, but I love these projects when you can just be so happy about the finished piece!

Atticus Rat Doll – Crochet Pattern Review

September 7, 2022

The Atticus Rat Doll is hands down the most detailed amigurumi I have ever made. The designer, Cottontail & Whiskers, provided an extremely detailed description of each step along the way with over seventy photos showing important steps in the process. The pattern also includes a bonus pattern for a cockroach pal named Splat. This pattern is definitely worth every penny, and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a pattern for a cute and detailed rat stuffed doll.

Crochet Numbers – Crochet Pattern Review

August 31, 2022

In honor of the new school year beginning, I thought these crochet numbers would make the perfect little set. I found this to be a great, quick pattern to use up scrap yarn and turn it into cute and functional pieces!

Pane Sweater – Crochet Pattern Review

August 20, 2022

I cannot overstate how comfortable this piece is. I realize part of that is to the credit of the yarn, which is one of my all-time favorites because it’s so luxuriously soft and perfect for garments, but I need to credit the designer as well. This shape is very boxy and simple, but having the edgings all pull in tighter and give it some flattering curves is so smart! It’s light, it’s comfy and warm but not too thick, and I can see myself wearing it all of the fall season.
