Rowyn Tote Bag – Crochet Pattern Review
So I set a plan in my head to make a nice tote bag for the two of us specifically to use for the library. That way I can put our books in there when we’re done reading them and they’ll (hopefully) be easier to find when we’re ready to go back for the next round. love how realistic the Poppy Pig pattern turns out. The finished stuffie is a cute and friendly-looking pig with a curious look on its face and all the important features. The curly tail, the details in the snout, and the floppy ears are all perfect characteristics. I can’t wait to debut this adorable pig stuffie at my upcoming fall markets.
Dafne Granny Stripe Bag – Crochet Pattern Review
I’m a sucker for a good bag. Open and meshy, dense and sturdy, one color or a rainbow-full, doesn’t matter to me. I love them all. They can hold anything from a phone and keys up to a craft market full of goodies! I love them in all shapes and sizes so, it’s no wonder that the Dafne Granny Stripe bag caught my eye when I was scrolling Ravelry, and then it jumped out from my favorites list when I looked for my next project for this summer. I found this pattern a lot of fun to work up. It’s a repetitive stitch but with this gorgeous yarn it has a wonderful crisp definition and it’s a spin on the basic stitch. You can make it in an endless combination of colors (one of my favorite things about a pattern), and it uses simple stitches in super creative ways. I truly recommend checking it out, if you want a fashionable and practical bag that you certainly can’t find on the shelves in a store!
Anchor the Octopus – Crochet Pattern Review
If you are looking for a great, realistic octopus pattern, the Anchor the Octopus (or Mini Anchor the Octopus) are for you! Both patterns are intermediate patterns that work up faster than you would expect for their size. The finished octopi are so cute and squishy when finished. I highly recommend you try one (or both) of these patterns out!

My sister-in-law sends me crochet inspiration from time to time and this sunflower scrunchie was the latest one she sent. Once I saw it, I knew I needed to make it for my daughter. It is so simple but adds such a cute touch to updos. I love the pop of color along with the flash of fun that it brings to an otherwise normal bun.
